BattleShop

BattleShops adds functionality not found in current shop systems. Most importantly, the current quantity of items being bought or sold is always current and displayed on the sign. You can place your chests anywhere you want, they don’t have to be right next to the sign, So you can keep all of your shop chests at your base, but have a sell sign anywhere you would like.

[spoiler title=”How To Set up Your Shop” open=”0″ style=”2″]

Usage

Selling: Left-Click to sell the quantity listed on the sign Buying: Right-Click to buy the quantity listed on the sign

Buying/Selling in Bulk:

If you would like to buy/sell multiples type the following in the command line.

Buy Example: ****/shop buy <amount>x

Sell example: ****/shop sell 32x

After pressing enter then Right-Click to buy multiples of the quantity shown on the sign. The X IS IMPORTANT. To sell do the same but use “sell” instead of buy and Left-Click to sell.

Looking at past transactions:

If you would like to see who has been buying/selling to your shop type **** /str or /shoptransactions [# of days]

Or if you would like to see what you have bought or sold to other shops **** /ptr or /playertransactions [# of days]

Creating a shop:

To buy/sell an item you must have two things, a “Shop Chest” and a “Shop Sign”. They can be created in any order and you can have more than 1 and create more than 1 at a time.

1) To create a “Shop Sign” you must create a sign with the following format

  • Line 1: <leave blank>
  • Line 2: <quantity you are selling at a time>
  • Line 3: <What Customers will Pay YOU> : <What You will PAY to them>
  • LIne 4: <item name or item id>

Here is an example, typing the following

  • {blank line}
  • 2
  • 6000 : 3000
  • Diamond

will create a shop sign looking like this.

  • {my_player_name}
  • 2
  • B 6000 : 3000 S
  • DIAMOND

Your name is automatically inserted into the first line. The second line has the quantity and if you have not already created a “Shop Chest” then it will have the Letter “U” to the right of the quantity. This means this shop is not active yet and is Unlinked. To link it to a shop chest follow step #2

To create a sign for items with sub-item codes. You can either do {item name}:{sub-item code} or {item id}:{sub-item code} example : Red Wool

2) To create a “Shop Chest” you must Left-Click the chest with a redstone torch. If the chest is empty, it “Links” to any sign. It will be able to buy/sell everything If the chest has items, it “Links” ONLY to those signs that buy/sell these types of items You can NOT create a “Shop Chest” in an area where you do not have build permissions.

3) To Unlink a shop chest you Left-Click it again with a redstone torch.

Shop Permissions: Any non admin that touches your Shop Chests will Break the shop connection and “Unlink” your chest. If you do not want this to happen you will need to give the player permission to touch your Shop Chests 1) Add “Shop Chest” permissions Code:

/shop add

2) Remove “Shop Chest” permissions to other people Code:

/shop remove

3) List who has access to your shop chests Code:

/shop list

Shop Sign Quantities: The Shop Sign can display the following quantities: U: This shop sign is unlinked 0: There are no items to be bought <X: There are less than X items in the linked chests X: There are X items in the linked chests. Full: The linked chests can not be sold any more of the item

The quantity remaining on the shop sign is updated immediately after Someone buys/sells, the shop sign is linked or unlinked to a Shop Chest

If someone is adding or removing items from a Shop Chest, the sign will update within a minute.

Items with Datavalues: The shops can now handle names with item Values, before you had to type in the item name like Wool:14, now you can simply put “Red Wool”

****Examples:

  • Black Wool
  • Light Blue Wool
  • Red Wool
  • Log
  • Redwood Log
  • Birch Log
  • Sapling
  • Redwood Sapling
  • Birch Sapling
  • Ink Sac
  • Green Dye
  • Pink Dye

Death Chest

With this plugin, you create a chest where upon your death your entire inventory gets transferred to.

[spoiler title=”Details” open=”0″ style=”2″]

This Feature is only avaialble to Supporter and Up.

DeathChest is a Plugin for controlling the death of a Player. Each Player can set his DeathChest somewhere in a world. If he dies, his inventory will be transferred to this chest. You can also set packages of worlds for which the Inventory will be transferred to. A Player can therefore only place one DeathChest in one World-Package.

For example: Player a has the save inventory in world c and world d. His DeathChest is located in world c. He dies in world d. His inventory will be transferred to the DeathChest in World c.

How do I actually create a DeathChest?

This is simple. You just have to create a Sign above a Chest or a DoubleChest with the Letters: “deathchest” (not case sensitive) in any line of a Chest. After placing this sign, the DeathChest will be created and the first line will be filled with your name, the third line will be filled with the worldname the chest is in.[/spoiler]

Gods

A plugin for adding Gods to the world of minecraft.

[spoiler title=”Description” open=”0″ style=”2″]

A God is an entity that exist because a player has chosen to believe in it. A player shows his faith in a god by building a altar for his god and using the altar to pray. In this way, many gods may exist at a time, all with names created by the players.

The main purpose for believing in these gods is to gain from the help the gods provide (see below) and to provide basic community play (I.e. “My god is better than yours”).

Gods

Altars

Building an altar is simple:

  • Place a torch on a smooth brick block
  • Place a sign on the side of the block with ONLY the name of your God written on any line
  • Players can now pray to this God by right-clicking on the altar sign

Rules

  • Gods exist as long as players believe in them
  • Gods comes into existence by players building altars to them
  • Gods grow stronger from the number of believers they have
  • Gods grow stronger from the number of prayers at their alters
  • Gods appoints a single believer to be his priest
  • Gods will bless their believers with items they need
  • Priest can pray for Blessing and Cursing specific players
  • Gods send their believers on quests
  • Gods protect their lands around their altars.

Item Blessings

Periodically, the God will check for his believers needs:

  • When a believer has no pickaxe, the God will bless his believer with a pickaxe
  • When a believer has no sword, the God will bless his believer with a sword
  • When a believer has no food, the God will bless his believer with food

The more powerful the God is, the more frequent the God will attend to his believers. The exact quality of the item (wood, stone, diamond) also depends on the power of the God.

Blessing Altars

A Priest can ask his God to specifically bless any player by using an altar:

  • Build an altar as described above
  • On the sign, write “Blessings” on line 1
  • On the sign, write “on” (or anything) on line 2
  • On the sign, write the name of the player on line 3

Now the priest can right-click the sign, praying to his God to bless that player!

Cursing Altars

A Priest can ask his God to specifically curse any player by using an altar:

  • Build an altar as described above
  • On the sign, write “Curses” on line 1
  • On the sign, write “on” (or anything) on line 2
  • On the sign, write the name of the player on line 3

Now the priest can right-click the sign, praying to his God to curse that player!

Commandments

Any God with respect for himself have strong opinions about what is right and wrong.

A God will periodically tell his priest about what food and creature types are considered holy and unholy.
Because the God will react swiftly with blessings and curses on his believers accordingly to these commandments, it is the priests responsibility to communicate (preach) this information to the believers in general.

Quests

Gods will periodically issue quests for their believers, for them to show their faith in him.
This may include quest for slaying mobs, sacrificing certain items etc.
If completed, all the believers will be rewarded by the God and the quest completion will act as a mass-prayer, effectivly adding significantly more belief to the God.

Holy Lands

The land around an altar is holy to that particular God.
The radius of the Holy Land grows and fades with the power of the God and only believers may build within the Holy Land of the God.
This acts as a simple anti grief control purely based on the altars and Godpower.
Of course should a player be able to destroy the altar of the God, the Holy Land protection will immediately disappear.
When using Holy Lands, the death of a believer will reduce the power of their God

Sacrifices

Believers can sacrifice item to their God by burning any item of their choice. The God will have a certain need for certain item types and it is up to the believer to find out the needs of their God at any given time.
Sacrificing items that the God needs will result in a blessing and added belief in the God, which in turn adds more power to the God.
Be warned that sacrificing items to a God which has no interest in the item or “spam-sacrificing” a God can have deadly consequences…
Gods will also issue sacrifice quests from time to time.

The Holy Book

All Gods have their “Bible” or “Holy Book”, which is maintained by the priest. At any time, the priest can produce a copy of the current edition of the Holy Book with /gods bible.
The priest can edit a copy of the current edition of the Holy Book with /gods editbible.
He can also choose to set the currently held book to be the official Holy Book for his religion with /gods setbible.
The latest “edition” of the Holy Book will always have the priest that last performed /g setbible as the author.

Languages & Custom God speak

All the text for the Gods speaking can be changed and customized to your needs. You might want do adjust the tone of what a God say, expand what a God can say or even want a God to speak in another language!

By default, the God speak texts are found in the english.yml file. (English is the default language of this plugin).
Simply use this file as a template for other languages as well by renaming the file, edit the file and set the Settings.LanguageFile option to your new filename.

If you manage to do a full translation into another language, I would be happy to include your language file in a upcoming release!

Installation

Put the Gods.jar file in your /plugins folder and you are ready to go!

LWC Protection

Tired of logging on and find out you’ve been robbed.  With LWC you can lock your doors, trap doors, levers, pressure plates, levers…and yes even cake. LWC is the longest-lived single block protection plugin that protects both the block itself and contents of Chests, Furnaces, and Dispensers. It can also protect and make Iron doors open on right click.

[spoiler title=”LWC Commands” open=”0″ style=”2″]

Blocks can be protected with three basic protection types:

Private

By default, only you can access this protection. You can also modify it (or specify when creating) to add other players or groups to the protection, so they can access it. Say you wanted Notch and Hidendra to both access the protection. When creating the protection, you could do /cprivate Notch Hidendra or if it already exists /cmodify Notch Hidendra. If you wanted to remove Hidendra from the private protection, you can use /cremove -Notch

Password

A password is set on the protection and anyone that knows the password can open it. You yourself also need this password each time you log in.

Public

Mainly targeted at community chests, a Public chest means just that: anyone can access it, but no one can protect it which makes it advantageous because it cannot be made private by someone else.

Commands

    • /lwc – The LWC command for everything, however aliases are available to make some commands shorter. Type /lwc in-game for more detailed help.
    • /cprivate – The alias of /lwc create private (or /lwc -c private), it creates a private protection.
    • /cpassword <password> – The alias of /lwc create password <password>, it creates a passworded protection.
    • /cpublic – The alias of /lwc create public, it creates a public protection
    • /cremove – Allows you to remove a protection you own (or if you’re an LWC admin, any protection) – you must click on the protection after using /cremove in order to remove it.[/spoiler]

MobHealth

This simple but invaluable plugin lets you know the damage you just caused to a mob, and how much health it has left.

/MobHealth toggle = Allows you to turn on/off the health display

Precious Stones

This is a plugin that allows you as a player to control areas you wish to protect from other players in the game. You can purchase them and place them wherever you need the protection field.  There are many different fields to choose from with a range of benefits and pricing.   The blocks and fields have been customized for MineQuestria but the commands are the same. for a link to the wiki click here.
